For a working person, the start and end of a month are synonyms with paycheck time. However, after taxes and other deductions, the salary some people get leaves them highly disappointed. A UPS driver named Skyler Stuzman (@skylerleestutzman), however, is unaware of this feeling as he has a hopeful salary. The man did a breakdown of his weekly paycheck and left several professionals and employees baffled by the amount he makes and takes home. Stutzman noted that he was paid every week and that the amounts on the paycheck, too, were calculated from a weekly perspective. As a fun fact to begin with, the driver noted that he had a 30-minute unpaid lunch break every day.

He went on to reveal his paycheck and explained the numbers. “Union members are paid weekly so these numbers are going to reflect weekly paychecks," Stutzman added that he didn’t intend to demean his company or his hard-earned salary and was using it only for an informational purpose. “I love to come across content creators who share their payslips from working in different fields and the transparency of how their wages are broken down,” he added. The driver went on to reveal the summary of his paycheck between September 10 and September 16. The amount for the week was $2,004.98. However, there were still taxes and other deductions to be made and people couldn't believe it.

Contrary to common notions about a UPS driver's salary, after taking away $487.49 for tax and $204.95 for other deductions, there was quite a lot left as take home pay. “A net take home for the week of $1,313.24,” the man revealed. While this amount was shocking enough, Stutzman went on to give a thorough breakdown of how he earns his wages. The driver shared the detailed record which included how much he is paid per hour, the number of hours worked and so on. The man shared that he received $44.26 per hour. This is the regular amount paid per hour. Stutzman had worked 40 regular hours in the week which earned him $1,770.40. However, there were additional amounts added for those putting in overtime.

Overtime consisted of $66.39 per hour. Having put in 2.76 hours of overtime, the man received an additional $183.24. There was also a section titled “Production Bonus” with an offering of $44.26 per hour. Having worked 1.16 hours in this section, Stutzman earned an additional $51.34, which summed up his total salary to $2,004.98 for a total of 42.76 hours. People were left stunned seeing the amount the man was taking home. He had been working for a reasonable number of hours and received quite a decent paycheck for the same.

Many envied Stutzman and tried to hand in their applications. Others were caught off guard after comparing their paychecks and deductions to that of the UPS driver. People weren’t sure if they were more baffled by the lesser deductions or the salary per hour. @jrsantos671 said, “$40 an hour? Meanwhile, I’m here fighting for my life with $15 an hour.” @pomeranianic added, “Not me realizing they make more than I do. 20 years in my field with a degree.” @leesuh8909 remarked, “They deserve every penny. They work hard.”
