Woman bullied her way into a parking spot and made drivers wait 5 minutes — one driver’s petty windshield note made her pay in wasted time
Sharing parking spaces can test anyone’s patience, especially when one driver decides the rules don’t apply to them. Reddit user who goes by u/Warcraft_Fan recalled a frustrating encounter at Woodland Mall's parking lot in Michigan. On August 23, 2026, they shared that a woman drove the wrong way to grab a parking spot they were preparing to pull into and then took several minutes to squeeze into it, leaving other drivers waiting. But after seeing how badly she had parked, the driver decided to give her a taste of her own medicine.
The driver spotted an open space near the mall entrance, but a woman approached from the wrong direction and parked in the same spot anyway. She then spent about five minutes fitting into the angled spot, blocking several cars behind her. When she finally parked, the driver joked, "My blind grandma could have parked faster than that," to which she insisted, "But I got here first!" The driver noticed her car was still badly parked and decided to take petty revenge. They left a note under her windshield wiper saying, “Sorry I bumped your car. You parked badly, and I had a hard time getting out.”
The driver said they made sure the note looked believable enough to cause some confusion, but deliberately left out any contact or insurance information. There was no scratch, dent, or actual bump to report; the whole point was to make the woman wonder what had happened and waste her own time checking her car. As the driver put it, “You waste my time making stupid moves to get a good parking space; I waste your time with something that never happened.”

After the man dismissed her complaint, she walked up to his red Camaro, intending to key it. But as she reached the car, she dropped the idea and instead made another plan. She complimented his “gorgeous” car and calmly told him, “I know where your car is parked, and you don't know where my car is parked.” She had no intention of damaging the vehicle, but the uncertainty made the driver pull out and leave the spot.
