Woman records video showing hack for folding fitted sheets and her step-by-step guide has the internet in stitches
Certain household chores might seem simple enough but can be a nightmare to do in reality. It can be hard to dread something that one has to do every day or every week. Folding fitted sheets after they have been washed is one such concern for many people, as it can be quite hard to fold one neatly. A woman's hilarious life hack to fold a sheet might or might not get you a perfectly folded sheet, but it will definitely give you a good laugh. The video was uploaded on the YouTube page of Terri Metz.
The woman stood up with a white fitted sheet at the beginning of the video. The sheet had just come out of the dryer and the woman was getting ready to fold it. "Hey, so I just got my sheets out of the dryer and I always hate that because I hate folding sheets," Metz began. "But I know everybody does, so today I’m going to show you the easiest way ever to fold a fitted sheet," she went on. Now, in the beginning itself, it may be easy to guess that the method is going to be unconventional because of Metz's approach. "What you want to do is you take your sheet and lay it down on the ground like that, just like that," the woman explained as she lay the sheet on the ground properly.
"Then you want to put one leg in that side, one leg in that side, and then you’re going to want to sit down," Metz went on as she completely put her legs inside the corners of the fitted sheet one by one. She carefully sat down on the ground after that, ready to carry out the next step of the process. "And then you want to hook an arm in this one and an arm in this one," the woman pointed out as she had each one of her limbs in all four corners. "See, isn't that nice? Isn't that a good effect?" the woman questioned as she continued her rib-tickling trick for people to follow.
"So then what you’re going to do next is lay your body down. And you may be happy to lay down because you’re already worn out at this point because folding sheets is nonsense," Metz remarked as she continued folding the sheet with her whole body. "And the next step, take the left side of your body and slowly roll it over." The woman was completely inside the sheet now and the person recording the video started laughing. "At this point, you take this corner and tuck it up in that corner; therefore, you have freed a hand," the woman continued.
"And what you do now is you are just genius. Slowly take out a leg, and then you slowly take out another leg and gingerly roll your body out," Metz narrated as she carefully weaseled her way out of the sheet she had rolled herself into. "And then you get and you fold it twice, bingo baby!" the woman exclaimed. "Is that not beautiful? Shove that baby in the linen closet and be proud." She added, "That's the way you do it, my sweets." The woman signed off and said, "Toodaloo."
