She reached out to the person to find out whether her hunch was right, and what followed changed her role from a “stalker” to a “girlfriend” within weeks.

“I stalked his profile and saw a post made a month ago, and details on it confirmed 99% that this is the guy I know,” she wrote. She knew the man through mutual friends and wasn’t very well acquainted with him. Still, she wanted to know if her guess was right, so she decided to reach out to him directly. When she texted him on WhatsApp, he was confused and shocked. She feared she might come across as a stalker in his eyes. To her surprise, the duo continued texting for a few days until he invited her out to drinks with friends.
