Woman with $0 and an almost-empty gas tank drove to church on Easter to pray — moments later, a phone call brought an unexpected offer
It’s always difficult when you have no money, especially on a festive occasion. But sometimes, unexpected moments can turn things around. A woman shared her experience on TikTok under the handle @capricornprincess77 on April 5, 2026, revealing that she was completely broke on Easter Sunday, with her car nearly out of gas. While she somehow managed to drive to church for prayers, she later received a phone call that led to an offer she had never expected.
The woman said she “literally had zero dollars” on Easter Sunday. She had planned to go to church with her boyfriend, but he had cheated on her that morning. She drove alone to church with the gas nearly empty. She said the car showed a 35-mile fuel range, and her drive to church was about 20 minutes. She just wanted to somehow make it to church for prayers. Although she managed to get there, she barely made it back home. A while later, she received a call from a client asking for a haircut. “I never get a client… but I got a client,” she said. The customer came to her home and paid her $100 for the service.
The customer asked her about the charges. The woman described her response as, “You are my first client. Whatever you would like or whatever you think I deserve.” But she certainly did not expect them to give $100. That customer came as a miracle to the woman, who wasn't used to getting clients, and she finally got what she needed most on that day—money. She herself considered whether it was God’s plan. “I don’t know. Isn’t that God?” the woman said.
She revealed that during the church prayer, she shared her plight with God, wondering how she would manage with an empty gas tank, no money, and how she would get to work. To support this, she even showed the fuel meter of her car, which indicated it was still low. Her Easter Sunday could have been far from memorable if not for the unexpected call from the client. The shared video on TikTok has been viewed over 115,00 times now and received 22,700 likes. The viewers have also shared heartfelt reactions in the comments.
The woman had no idea she would get a customer on Easter Sunday, as it wasn't something that usually happened for her, yet she did get one. @missle570 wrote, “God works in mysterious ways.” Another user, @tinyy.htx, added, “God takes good care of his daughters.” Despite knowing her gas was nearly empty, the woman did not change her plan to go to church for prayer. One of the users, @mariejess205, pointed out the same fact and wrote, “Because you put God first.” For the woman, it felt nothing short of a miracle, as she believed God “showed up” for her. “I love God. Happy Easter, everybody,” she said, visibly emotional.
