The woman said her ex’s new partner seemed to have everything going for her. She was a self-employed naval architect who drove a brand-new Porsche and appeared to be doing very well financially. But after the divorce, the woman started dating someone in global finance, who looked into the ex’s new partner’s finances and found that the wealthy image wasn’t quite what it seemed. She was apparently deep in debt while still spending as though money wasn’t an issue. The discovery exposed an even more shocking truth. Her new partner found that the "wealthy" woman had listed her personal home as her business address to claim expenses and tipped off California’s Franchise Tax Board.
The business was audited and suspended, leaving her with a large tax bill and, according to the post, a lien on her home. With the business no longer operating, she could no longer keep up with her expenses. The biggest turn came when the ex-wife packed her bags and left the new partner almost immediately after the Porsche was repossessed. The relationship that had ended their marriage apparently didn’t survive once the luxury lifestyle started falling apart.
The post said that the user and her ex-wife had been in a polyamorous marriage when they met the homewrecker. At first, she appeared to accept their relationship, but the woman later believed she had only pretended to be comfortable with it so she could get closer to her wife.
