3-yr-old was told not to kick her sisters, so she headed straight to the piano and put her feelings into hilariously epic song

Little kids usually have their own ways of expressing their emotions. Some cry out loud, some sit and sulk, some throw a fit, while others, like this toddler, pick a musical route to express themselves. A mom of three from Oklahoma named Rachael Geiger–who goes by @rkbgeiger on TikTok–shared how her toddler daughter took a creative approach to express her big feelings. Geiger's 3-year-old daughter, Tillie, was involved in a quarrel with her two older sisters, which ended with an impromptu musical performance.

Geiger hid from Tillie's sight as she filmed her daughter playing some notes on the piano in their house, singing how she felt like no one wanted to "be with her and play with her." The 18-second-long video quickly gained millions of views and appreciation. Geiger also had an opportunity to chat with PEOPLE and elaborate on the video and her daughters. "The girls are little besties. Cecilia, the 10-year-old, likes to be mama. They call her fake mama, so when they yell through the house for mama and I answer, they go, 'No, not you. Fake mama,'" Geiger, who works for a non-profit that helps bring help, hope and healing to children impacted by a loved one's addiction, joked.
Also, she spoke about her other daughters, Vivian and Matilde or Tillie. "Tillie is usually the one that gets in trouble for how she plays with her sisters because she's just kind of like a Tasmanian devil. She's just a live wire all the time," Geiger explained. Then she recalled the incident which led her to film Tillie with the piano. She and her daughters were in bed one morning, scrolling TikTok and finding audiobooks that her daughters could listen to. "Tillie's head was at the foot of the bed. She was doing what every kid does: kicking everyone in our faces. We told her four or five different times, but she didn't stop. So she got off of the bed and she just marched herself straight down and told us how she felt on the piano," Geiger shared with the news outlet.

Tillie, who had always loved to sing out her feelings, vocalized her internal dialogues in a little song. A couple of nights ago, she was also singing about jalapenos. "She takes all of these little coping mechanisms that we talk about at my job while she's snacking or coloring and brings emotional intelligence to conversations now. Some kids can really take it and apply it like that," Geiger remarked, adding that she was not expecting Tillie's video to blow up on the internet. Tillie was also described as an "anomaly" by Geiger.
"We had three miscarriages in between the 8-year-old and her. It was the middle of the pandemic when we got pregnant with her. So we didn't tell anybody and we didn't see anybody. Then all of a sudden, I had a premature baby who had a 30-day NICU stay," Geiger said, mentioning how she was grateful for being able to share their family interactions on TikTok. The TikTok community showered their love and appreciation for the toddler who chose to tap away at the piano to express her heavy emotions.

@swamp_mistress commented, "It's beautiful that she's releasing her emotions through artistic expression." @jessica123456458 mentioned, "That's amazing! Expressing a big feeling is hard for adults. I hope she was encouraged instead of disregarded." @shelbynotcobra noted, "Our kids would be friends. My daughter wrote a song about how I forgot her stuffed animal when we went on a trip and it had a drum solo." @emilema added, "That’s exactly how being the baby feels like. She just brought me back to 1987 with this one."
