In another post, Megan shared how the encounter took a surprising turn and the details that followed. She had told her friends how she was seated next to the good-looking man, "except someone's in the middle.” All of her friends hoped that one of them would move to the middle so she could have a chance to talk, and to her delight, the man, Fred, swapped to sit next to her for the entire flight. Afterward, he sent her a message saying, “You are so lovely, and it was an absolute pleasure to sit next to you.” Megan shared that this moment felt special and marked the start of their relationship.
Their connection quickly grew stronger. Megan posted clips showing them video calling daily, explaining, “We kept in touch and FTed every day.” She shared how every conversation and video call made them feel closer despite the distance. Eventually, Megan flew to London to see Fred again. Megan also shared short clips of their everyday adventures together, showing the fun and love in their relationship. She explained, “We did two years long distance, seeing each other whenever we could,” highlighting how they made time for each other despite challenges in a two-year long distance.
The clips showed them eating together, dancing, and sharing emotional moments, such as when Fred surprised Megan with a visit to New York. The story finally reached its happy ending when Fred proposed to Megan on a beautiful rainy day. "Now long distance is finally over," Megan expressed in the post, followed by a selfie proudly showing her new ring.
