Receiving love and appreciation from children can mean a lot to parents, especially if such moments come at an unexpected time. A boy professing his love for his dad while the duo were making memories skateboarding is one such example. The son could not help but confess his feelings out loud as he zipped past places on his skateboard with his dad. Dad Tyler Schaefer–who goes by @tschaeffl on Instagram–shared the sweet moment with his son on the platform.

"Dad, I love shredding and I love you so much, Dad," the son expressed out loud while on his skateboard. "I love you so much and I love shredding too," Schaefer responded. "And I love shredding too, with you," the excited son repeated after his dad. Schaefer confirmed that he loved "shredding" with his son, too. The son could not contain his enthusiasm as he screamed, "I am shredding with you, Dad!" Schaefer exclaimed, "Come on, dude." To which his son replied in the most adorable voice, "I am coming, dude." The brief clip of the family's adorable moment received nearly 10 million views on the platform. The caption read, "This boy loves shredding with his dad."

Activities where parents and children spend quality time with each other can help form meaningful connections. Kids do not need big gestures to form such bonds, according to the Up Centre. Small, daily-life things can have a much bigger impact on them. These activities allow the parents and children to create trust, security and communication among them, per the outlet. A family's bond can become stronger through shared interests that bring happiness to everyone involved. People who loved the clip shared their thoughts on the dad and son's cute moment in the comments. Many people even drew parallels with the incident and the movie "Finding Nemo."

@goose4hire wrote, "He felt the need to say that because he was experiencing a surge of dopamine and serotonin just existing with his daddy. So sweet and precious." @broseph.tx commented, "Any man will tell you, this is the best feeling in the world. No money, no accolade, no item in the world could compare to the love of your child." @appalachian_mama remarked, "Oh my God! It’s literally Crush and his son from 'Finding Nemo' in human form. This is so wholesome, he had so much excitement in his body, he had to make sure to express it." @therealaaronkeel shared, "No better thing in the world than having your son enjoy the things you enjoy and hearing them tell you how much they love you!"

@Jbird_hberg expressed, "The dad, his voice! He could totally be the voice in an animated series or a kids' show." @ginja.bread pointed out, "I love seeing this. It makes me think of my son and myself so much. Keep being an amazing father and raising a bad*** little dude." @oceaneyes_604 revealed, "My boy will be 14 this year…I miss those days. He is still my little dude, took him out last week 4x4ing, teaching him how to drive a manual transmission."
