Hilarity ensues when little boy uses Ring doorbell to call his dad at work about turning on the 'kids’ channel'
Children discover the most unusual things when people are least expecting it. Their way of using might not be what the thing is intended for but they end up doing just that regardless. A boy found his home's Ring camera and made a call to his dad to ask him how to turn on the kids' channel on their TV. The boy's question and his out-of-the-ordinary way of asking it left his dad in stitches. The brief footage was shared on Eyewitness News's YouTube channel.
A child was home alone and wanted to reach his dad. He chose the most unexpected device to call him at work. Instead of using the phone, he used the house's Ring doorbell camera. Nonetheless, his intention was fulfilled. The little boy stood in front of the ring camera and called out for his dad. He called, "Dad" once again. Before his dad replied, "Baby Gracie." Immediately, the kid was super excited and screamed, "Dad! I love you." The dad laughed and asked his son how he was doing. He went on and kissed the camera to give his dad a kiss. "I love ya. Aw, that's my kid," the dad said. "How is it going man?" he asked.
The kid immediately asked his dad, "How do you turn on the kids' channel?" The dad confirmed the question and asked, "In the house?" The boy responded, "Yeah, how do you that?" He repeated his question to his dad who was quite surprised by his question. "I am over here by myself because mom let me," the child shared. "Well, where's your mom?" the man wondered. "You are not supposed to be home alone." The son answered, "She is at Courtney's with Alex," the boy responded looking back at the house multiple times as he explained the situation to his dad. "I wanted to go home and she said I could come here and turn on the kids' channel." The dad explained, "Okay, you just have to press the power button," with a hint of laughter in his voice.
"Press the power button on the side of the TV. You know how to do that right?" the man inquired. But that didn't seem to be the answer the boy was looking for. "Yeah, but I don't know what channel to get onto to get the kids' channel on." The dad pointed out that the kids' channel might be on channel number 25. "I don't know what 25 looks like," the boy admitted, leaving his dad in splits. "Come on," the kid whined before he started making funny faces at the camera and brought his face extremely close to it. He poked the device with his nose and then brought his one eye really close to it as if trying to peek through it and blinked. "Get the remote," the man instructed in between chuckles as his son made funny faces.
He repeated his instruction as the boy kissed the camera again and again. "Get the remote and press the number two and the number five," the man continued. "Point it at the TV. That should work for you." The boy was about to leave and said, "Okay, bye Dad. I'll give you one more kiss." He then kissed the camera once again as his dad added, "Okay, one more kiss. Okay." He laughed as he told his son, "Thank you, buddy, I love you!" The kid bid goodbye to his dad as he ran inside the house.
