Incidents that seem serious in the moment often turn into anecdotes that people laugh at years later. A groom's little brother had one such confession to make during his best man speech. The man disclosed who the real culprit was behind a paintball incident during their childhood and it left both the groom and one of his friends completely stunned. The brother pointed out that he had simply made the confession so the groom could have closure and everyone was in stitches, per a video by Tali Joy Photography.

"When I was around 8, Dave and Mark were at the house. They were out there playing paintball one day," the brother said, pointing at the groom, Dave and at one of his friends in the audience. "And I love playing paintball myself. So when Mark came over and wanted to play, I asked if I could join," he went on. By the expression on his face, the groom seemed to be preparing himself for what was about to come. The brother revealed that the duo refused to take him with them. "Like any older brother would to any little brother," the man continued amid laughter from the audience. "But like any little brother, I got upstairs and got my stuff anyway."

The brother had planned to follow Dave and Mark, whether they liked that or not. But by the time he came downstairs with his stuff, the two friends were already gone. "So, I picked up a couple of Mark's paintballs and I threw them against the house next door." In the middle of that sentence, realization struck Dave and he was completely stunned. He was pointing at his brother with his mouth agape as the audience laughed. "Wait, wait, wait!" he exclaimed. "Are you serious?" he asked and his brother confirmed that. In the audience, Mark expressed, "No way!" The man moved forward with his speech as Dave and Mark were trying to process the information with surprised faces. The groom was left pointing at his little brother and then perhaps at his parents, prompting them to listen to what was happening.

"Dave assured our neighbors and our parents that it couldn't have been him. It couldn't have been Mark because their paintball is not that color," he recounted. Mark had his head in his hands as the people around him threw their heads back with laughter. Both friends screamed, "No!" and Dave emphasized, "I got so much trouble for that." The brother added, "Neither the neighbors nor our parents believed him and made him clean it up." The man knew that he would have to tell what had happened eventually, but he really wanted to watch TV that day and didn't confess to it then.

The audience clapped and laughed at that. "So I bring this up 20 years later as a wedding gift to him, for closure." The bride and groom looked at each other and laughed, too. Dave was in disbelief after that as he looked around in confusion. "I am the one who threw those paintballs," the brother said. "Dude!" Dave looked up and laughed. "So, thank you for letting me watch TV that day," the speech ended.
