The conversation started well until he brought up her choice and wanted her to explain it. What followed was not the kind of response he expected at all. The pair met at a wine bar, where they ordered a bottle and began talking. Seconds later, before asking her anything else, he questioned her decision not to have children. He said he found it offensive and wondered why becoming a mother was not important to her. The woman explained that she had known for years that she did not want to be a parent, but he persistently wanted a logical reason. Usually, she would have considered having the discussion, but that day, she didn't feel like it. She simply said, "I could give you a million reasons why your viewpoint is f****d up, but I don't want to waste my time with you." The very next minute, she gulped the rest of her wine, picked up the bottle, and walked out. She told the man she was taking the latter as "trauma tax."
