Everyone can relate to being a professional and confident individual when it comes to their job. Whether it’s a call, email, meeting or any other event, there is a completely different stature and personality employees put on. Many put away their quirky, witty, or other personality traits to present their best in front of their co-workers. However, the switch is quite hilarious to witness sometimes. A man named Jay Will (@jwilltheproducer) shared a video of his sales coworker who was speaking with a customer and the difference in his personal and professional voices left the internet amuzed.

Taking to a customer, the co-worker was busy getting work done with his best potential. However, after a second with the customer on hold, he revealed his authentic voice, leaving everyone in chuckles. The recording captured the man focused on his call, diligently doing his work and speaking to the customer. He exercised patience, calm, professionalism and clarity as he spoke to the woman. He was a salesperson trying to pitch insurance to the woman and ever so gently tried to convince her into the purchase. “This is a whole life policy and you can keep it as long as you want, without having your rates increased,” he carefully and persuasively explained.

He even entertained the woman’s doubts and assured her with his flawless communication. Taking time, listening actively and being fully invested in the call, the man gave the impression that he was actually talking in his real voice. The coworker kept recording him silently and the man was focused on his work, paying attention to details as he attended to the customer. “Now I want to give you a confirmation number for your protection, let me know when you're ready,” the employee kindly asked. While he was waiting, Will decided that it was time to reveal the truth. He quickly asked the employee to put the call on hold and said, “Talk in your real voice.”

Immediately, the man changed his tone to a hundred pitches lower and said, “What happened?” Everything from his pronunciation, eyes, and expressions, all dropped to reveal his chilled-out and exhausted self. Hearing his voice, Will immediately burst out laughing. The employee understood what Will was up to. “Are you recording me now?” he asked, keeping up the low pitch and carefree tone, with a slight smirk.

The contrast in the co-worker's voices surprised people so much that they suggested he should become a voice actor. “Work voice versus real voice,” Will wrote in the caption. @acommonjay said, “This isn’t just a work voice, this is full-blown voice acting.” @crystalrosenow added, “This is definitely a ‘my customer service voice went to Harvard’ moment.”  @king_kells remarked, “I code switch but this just opened up a new world for me. Vocal cord switch, larynx switch, everything.” @ovoshawn added, “The fact that this is not a skit has me dead.” @iambeasty remarked, “Gotta sound like them to get the sales.”
