Daughter asked dad to take her graduation photos because a photographer was too expensive — it was totally worth it

Many parents go above and beyond to capture their kids' special moments and memories. However, a daughter had a special request from her dad during her graduation. She wanted him to take her graduation pictures because the photographers were too expensive. The woman, Taylor Clark, also showed her dad a few references for the photos and her dad promised that he would try his best. However, the photos left the woman in complete shock, as per a video she shared on her TikTok account, @taylorrclarkk.

"POV: You asked your dad to take your graduation photos because it is too expensive right now, so he watched YouTube videos for hours and this is how they turned out," the text overlay of the video read. The dad had clicked some stunning photos of the woman in a white dress and a graduation hat. In the caption, Clark shared, "I showed him some ideas on Pinterest one night and he said he would make it happen for me. Knowing they’re from him makes it 20x more special." The video received more than 2.9 million views and over 452,000 likes. Her dad always went around with a camera to click pictures of her and her brother growing up, per PEOPLE.
So, when she was browsing photographers for her graduation and couldn't justify the cost, she turned to her dad. "It was about a month before graduation. We were sitting on the porch together, just talking and I had been scrolling through Pinterest on my phone, looking at graduation photo ideas. I turned to him and said, 'Do you think you could take something like this?' and handed him my phone," Taylor recounted. Her dad, Ed, immediately agreed and expressed that he would love to take the photos for her. They also scouted meaningful locations for the shoot before the graduation day. "Anytime I take pictures of her during significant moments, it reminds me of all the photos I’ve taken through the years and how much she has changed and grown," Ed pointed out.
The dad shared that the two of them have a great bond and the request Taylor made meant a lot to him. The daughter pointed out how the final results were much more than she had expected. "Taylor has always been very photogenic. I’ve always been able to take pictures of her next to almost anything and it turns out well." The woman cried a little when she saw the photos because of all the effort her dad had put into them. People shared their thoughts on the moment in the comments section of the video.
