Family celebrating Easter invites UPS driver to cookout and his reaction is truly beautiful: 'Everybody family around here'

Cookouts can be a great way to bond with people and feel a sense of community during festivals. Usually, people invite near and dear ones, but this family took it to the next level. They invited a UPS driver for the Easter cookout at their place and made sure that he had been taken care of properly. The people felt that everyone was their family around the place. One of the members of the family–who goes by @1fanto on TikTok–shared a video of the incident on the platform, and everybody on the internet loved the gesture.

The family was celebrating Easter and had gathered in their front yard when a UPS driver arrived at the house. They encouraged him to come inside and told the people standing near the food to make a plate for him. An uncle in the family told the driver, "You've been working hard all day, man, you can go on in there!" He asked a woman named Stephanie to take care of him and offer him food. The people kept encouraging him to come inside and get some food. Eventually, the driver went up and got himself some food and a drink and talked to the people at the party. "You good?" the man who had invited him asked as the UPS driver got ready to leave.

"Yeah, I'm good. They hooked me up. Thank you so much. Appreciate y'all for inviting me out," the UPS driver told the man as he shook hands with him before he got into his vehicle. The man told him that he could tell the other workers to stop by their house as well. "Everybody's family around here," the caption read. "Everybody is invited to the cookout," the text overlay pointed out. People in the comments shared their thoughts on the family's hospitality and their warm behavior. @aurora.a87 wrote, "I'm a firefighter, and dispatch messed something up once and we got sent for a noise complaint. Next thing I know, we're eating good, having a great time and given plates to take back to the station."

In an update, the creator shared the backstory behind the incident. The man shared that it was not even Easter yet. The family was having a fish fry cookout on a Saturday, and many people, including him, had come from outside the town. His uncle had noticed the UPS driver delivering stuff and had called him to join them for some food. The man had meant to share the video with his friends and family, but he could see that it had a "positive impact on people." He added, "That's what my family does, on a regular basis," referring to what they did for the UPS driver.
