Farmer hilariously uses crouton, key and other household items to show how tiny baby button quail are

Baby button quails are some of the tiniest, most adorable creatures. But just how tiny are they? Well, Bernard Henry (@fathenfarms) on TikTok has shared a hilarious and heartwarming series containing eight videos so far to give people a real sense of their size by comparing them to common household items. The result is both hilarious and mind-boggling. Adult button quails are already small, growing to about 3 to 7 inches in size, with females being slightly larger, as per Inspire More. But when it comes to baby button quails, they’re on another level. These little birds weigh only 2 grams, about the same as a copper penny—and they’re smaller than a regular marshmallow.

In the first part of the video, Henry compares the quails with various items such as a dice, a pistachio, a dime, a bottle cap, a ring and more. The items are almost as big or bigger compared to the quail. From there, the comparisons only get better. In one of the most entertaining comparisons, a quail is shown next to a crouton—it seems like the quail is almost the same size as the tiny piece of bread. The quail also looks adorable next to a button. In another comparison, it’s placed next to a key, where it’s clear that the quail is even smaller than something most of us carry around in our pockets every day.

In another video, Henry compares a quail's size with a strawberry, and it's clear that the tiny quail is practically lost beside the fruit. When a quail is placed next to a Hershey’s Kiss, it looks almost microscopic in comparison. Another video shows a quail standing next to a cotton ball, and you can’t help but smile at just how tiny the quail seems next to something as fluffy as that. Also, Henry places one quail next to a jellybean, emphasizing how small it is. Perhaps the funniest comparison is when a baby quail is surrounded by pasta, blending in perfectly with the pasta shells. Fans of the videos are absolutely smitten with these tiny creatures and can’t stop commenting on how adorable they are.
