Her oldest son stayed up all night setting up his baby sister’s Christmas gift. Her reaction proved why sibling love is truly priceless
An ordinary morning turned into a special one, as it showed the beautiful bond between siblings this holiday season. A mother to four kids, Janie Ippolito, posted a heartwarming video on TikTok, in which she shared how her oldest son stayed up late, setting up a Christmas present for his sister, and her reaction couldn't be more lovely. The video, which amassed over 20,000 views, struck a chord with the viewers on TikTok. Over 1,300 people liked the video posted by @janieippolito, which showed an emotional surprise and a beautiful bond between the brother-sister duo.
Her oldest son gifted his sister a Barbie tree house as a Christmas present. Their mother, Ippolito, posted the video with a layover text, saying, "When your oldest stays up late setting up his Christmas present for his sister, and this is her reaction." She captioned the post with: "Moments like this are what Christmas is all about."
In the video, Ippolito’s daughter, Ava, wakes up and immediately rushes toward her Christmas present - 'Barbie House' gift wrapped in a blue Santa-printed paper. As soon as she saw the present, she jumped with excitement as she discovered what was inside. Spotting the surprise, she happily exclaimed, “A Barbie tree house!” and then she ran straight to her older brother, and hugged him with joy, saying, “Thank you!”
The heartwarming video resonated with the viewer, and they couldn't love it more. "What a beautiful, loving family you have!" said @austinztael1. @lucykeeler wrote, "Oh my gosh, I can remember getting my first dream house too - such a sweet girl and an amazing gift!"

In another post on TikTok, she showed a glimpse into her Christmas morning, sharing how she, Ava, and her husband woke up together, did her skincare routine, and did their usual morning rituals. She, then, showcased the Christmas decorations in their home with stair handles lined with red Santa socks, each labelled with a family member's name. The video also captured the kids opening their gifts, while she and her husband were seen preparing the holiday meal, showing a wholesome family celebration.
A similar sibling bond was seen in a video posted on Instagram by another mom of a 12-year-old, Yvette Olazar, where she shared how her daughter stopped believing in Santa, which was worrying for her. But what her daughter, Natalie, did next for her younger brother left her bawling. The young girl took the role of putting out elves on the shelf for her brother, as per the video post. She tried to help her mom keep things going for her young brother. Olazar, in the overlay text, wrote, "No one talks about the day they stop believing and start helping." The moment made Olazar really emotional.
In the caption of the video, she wrote, "My mommy heart is so emotional experiencing this for the first time. The sisters officially stopped believing and are now helping keep the magic alive for their brother. I'll forever have all the memories." Several parents related to the video and shared their experience when their kids stopped believing in Santa being real.
