Some events might make a person feel super lucky. A man who bought a coat from a second-hand store couldn't believe his great luck after he stuck his hand inside the coat pocket. He was surprised to find an item that might have been even more expensive than his car. He got it checked and felt that he had landed an actual treasure. The person, u/RonaldMCSwanson1, shared his proud find with the internet and people were in awe of it.

"Found this in a coat pocket in my local thrift store," the man wrote. He shared the photo of an OMEGA watch that he had found inside the coat's pocket. "I am so lucky," he remarked. An OMEGA watch ranges from $5000 to $50,000 in the US, per Luxury Watches USA. The man shared that he had gotten the watch checked to verify if it was the real deal or not. "I took it to Reeds, who sent it to Omega. It’s real, but needed some light repairs." He added, "Reeds appraised it for about $4600, but I know it’s only worth as much as people are willing to spend on it. I just think it looks sick and will be a good thing to keep around for the future if nothing else."

The man was super excited to own the watch and to wear it around as a nice thing. "Hell yeah. It's honestly worth more than my car, but I gotta wear it around a little. I know it ain't the most expensive Omega but still nicer than anything I'd ever purchase," the person expressed, in a now-deleted comment. The person was looking around the coat pockets when he found the watch. "I was actually looking for the size of the coat and I felt in the pocket." People were super excited for the man in the comments section of the thread.

u/anon wrote, "I've always imagined finding something like this in a thrift store and wondering, would I sell it or would I be so thrilled to have it and maybe when I die pass it to someone else who loves watches. What if I just keep it and wear it until I die?" u/_Plant_Obsessed commented, "Once I was scanning DVDs and saw a copy of The Tenth Kingdom (absolute favorite binge I will watch this until the end of time). I didn't think of checking for the disks, just rushed to the checkout and went home to watch. I got home and opened the case and out popped $1,100 (the disks were all there as a bonus)."

u/SleepyWeezul joked, "Wow. Best I’ve ever found was some random pills in a hidden pocket of a leather jacket." u/21-characters shared, "I got a black watch with a black band at a resale shop in a wealthy area. I got it because it looked cool and it was unused. Looked it up online and it was a special limited number watch worth more than my (albeit used) car." u/DeathPrime expressed, "I’ve convinced myself you found it after it fell off your wrist when you reached in. If that’s not the case and you actually found it, don’t rub it in, just rock it on your wrist."
