Goldwasser explained that he usually has a more relaxed style, while his date seemed more polished. During the meal, he felt unsure about how to use a sauce bottle on the table, and she helped him before giving a small laugh that made him feel embarrassed. Later, the waiter brought two glasses of wine, and she asked if she could taste them. She carefully swirled the wine, smelled it, tasted it, and said she disliked one before trying the other. When the waiter returned and asked about the wines, she said she liked one while the other was "disgusting" to her. The waiter then clarified, “Ma’am, those are the same ones.”
He explained that he had poured two glasses of the same wine because he thought they both wanted to taste it. He added that he had planned to bring another wine afterward. Goldwasser shared that his date seemed fancier than him, from her style of dress to the places she visited and the way she carried herself. “Everything about her was just a little higher class than what I am used to,” he said.
