Shopping might come with surprises that turn into funny memories for a person. A man was also surprised and amused while trying to buy a suit at H&M. He was looking for the tag inside the suit's pocket, but was quite surprised at what actually came out of it. There was a piece of paper inside the pocket, which turned out to be someone's wedding toast. The two friends of the groom had recounted all the happy moments they had shared together, along with a few amusing anecdotes, as per a Reddit post by the customer, u/zachismyname89.

Although it happened because someone had decided to use and return a suit from the store, it turned out to be funny for the customer nonetheless. "Someone bought, used, then returned a suit from H&M and left their wedding toast in the pocket," the man wrote. The friends had written about meeting at Dartmouth while studying economics and all the memories they had shared during their four years of college. The two friends, Val and Jack, spoke at the wedding and revealed that they were groom Tony's "oldest and dearest friends" and hence, they were the ones giving the speech. Jack added as a joke, "...and the tallest and most photogenic of all his friends."

The friends wrote about getting their first jobs in New York and growing together as people and professionals. They shared how the groom met the bride, Ally, who was a brilliant lawyer and "skier extraordinaire." Jack added, "Proof that you can lure a brilliant woman with a 1000-page copy of 'War and Peace' by the bedside table. Bookmark's still on Page 12, folks." The duo also pointed out how the bride had not just "fit in" but "elevated" their group dynamics. They hilariously applauded their friend for retiring his "Super Smash Brother Tees" so he could finally match Ally's style. The friends also expressed how the bride and groom were a perfect match for each other and they hoped to spend a lot more quality time and make memories with the couple.

The friends wished the couple the best as they ended their wedding toast. The baffled customer who found the note in the coat commented, "I get being tight on money, but an H&M suit is like $100, at least get it dry cleaned first." People shared their thoughts on the hilarious encounter, as well as on the wedding toast. u/theflyingpiggies wrote, " I can’t stand the uber-rehearsed, unnatural 'ping-ponging' conversation type of speeches. It reminds me of those movie scenes where someone asks how they met and the couple starts telling the story like they practiced it in the mirror, each with certain lines and choreographed hand holding and laughing."

u/lois_sanb0rn commented, "Now I’m tempted to slip random terrible wedding speeches into formal wear pockets, lol." u/siempre_maria remarked, "I'm pretty sure my husband left both of our wedding vows in the front pocket of his suit, but it was definitely rented." u/WacoKid18 expressed, "As a Dartmouth alum, who gave a speech at a wedding at the DOC house in 2017, I find this especially funny." u/anon shared, " Tony’s stock tips are garbage but his friends are golden."
