Most people hope to have their loved ones present on their special days. A sister was hoping that her Marine Corps brother could come home to attend her wedding. But the man informed her that he wouldn't be able to attend the wedding because of work. The sister, Allison, was disappointed but had accepted that her brother, Wesley, wouldn't be able to attend her wedding. However, one thing led to another, and Wesley could plan a big surprise for his sister, per USA Today.

Allison hadn't seen her brother for over six months since he had joined the Marine Corps. She was hoping that he would be there on her special day, but Wesley's leave application hadn't been approved. He had told his sister he wouldn't be able to make it to her big day. However, he received a last-minute approval and decided to surprise his sister instead of telling her about it right away. The bride was looking at a wall and was ready for her "first look" on her wedding day when the plan was put into action. Wesley tapped her shoulder to signal her to turn around. Allison thought her stepdad was standing behind her for that and turned around to look at him.

She turned around and covered her mouth in surprise when she saw Wesley, as she wasn't expecting her brother to come to her wedding. After she had processed that the man was really there, she started crying as she kept looking at her brother. Her brother gave her a moment and then moved forward to give her a big hug. She continued to cry in his arms for some time, as he comforted her. Both of them seemed really excited to be present for Allison's special day as they smiled at each other before turning around for photos. Wesley gave his sister another hug before the duo started talking to each other. The brother travelled from North Carolina to Dickinson, Texas, after the approval to be there with his sister.

People appreciated the brother's beautiful surprise and called it a great wedding day memory in the comments section of the video. @vickystevens123 wrote, "I am so happy that your brother was able to get to your wedding and share your beautiful day. Thank you for your service, young man." @melindalanders commented, "The power of sibling love! Thank you, young man, for your service! Not only to our amazing country, but for being an awesome brother as well!" @andrewpetick2304 remarked, "This brings tears of joy to my eyes. Not every service member gets this type of reunion. These families do sacrifice so much! God richly bless all of them!"

@caro350 shared a personal experience and pointed out, "Yes, our service people sacrifice so much. My middle son was in Kuwait (USMC) when his first daughter was born. At least he returned. Something many men do not have. God bless our men and women in service." @lizetramos201 expressed, "Thank you for your service, young man...This is beautiful that you were able to make it and make your sister's wedding complete." @frostline_surg3 added, "Love between siblings is unmatched. They might bicker and argue a lot, but even then, they always have each other's back."
