A couple’s wedding day is all about them. The focus is on them starting a new life together and taking a leap forward. Usually, after all the wedding festivities, newlyweds head straight to their honeymoon, but one couple decided to break the trend. After exchanging vows, they left the venue and went directly to a Jelly Roll concert. Their wholesome gesture fetched them a rewarding wedding gift from singer and songwriter Jason Bradley aka Jelly Roll, per KPEL TV. The artist shared a video of applauding and gifting the newlyweds $10,000 and the moment is surreal.
Jelly Roll came to Louisiana as a part of his “Beautifully Broken” tour and was joined by thousands of fans in the audience who supported and greeted him. It was not long before he noticed that there were two special guests — Warren Zeiders and Alexandra Kay, who made him a part of their big day. While the singer was interacting with his fans, he spotted the couple and learned that they had just got married. He read their sign that said, “Just Married,” and was stunned. “Hold on, you all just got married today?” he asked as the camera zoomed in on the newlywed couple who was beyond excited.
After they nodded, the artist couldn't believe that they had spent such an important day with him. Kay then revealed a picture of herself and her husband donning their wedding attire and posing as happy newlyweds. “Ya’ll just get married today?” he asked before remarking, "This is f**king awesome.” He zoomed in on their wedding picture and continued, “Have you decided where you will be going on honeymoon yet?” The couple was too mesmerized to respond to his questions and kept looking at him in awe. “Tell you what I’m gonna do, I’m gonna give you $10,000,” Jelly Roll announced.
Leaving people in cheers and the newlyweds stunned, the artist noted that love deserved to be commended. “Congratulations baby, I knew love was in the air baby!” he remarked as a wave of applause and delight ran through the crowds. “Had to bless these newlyweds, baby,” he wrote in his caption. Jelly Roll is known for his generosity towards his fans and others too. He has been donating great amounts to charity, as well as welfare and believes that love is the center of it all. Many of his proceeds go to rehabilitation centers, mental health and many more causes.
