Parents of 5 found 4 siblings facing separation — one quick decision gave them a home where they could stay together
Some people might never run out of space in their hearts. One family from St. Anthony, Idaho, is a shining example of that. The couple, Michelle and Von Poll, already had five biological children. But then they learned about four children who needed a loving and safe home. The kids had recently lost their mom and were going to be separated from each other if they didn't find a home willing to take in all four of them. So the couple made a big decision to help the kids, per East Idaho News.
The couple was known for their kindness in the area, according to the outlet. So when they learned about the situation the four siblings were facing, they decided to adopt all four of them. Michelle and Von now have nine kids, from ages five to sixteen. The kids were glad to have a loving home and the parents were grateful that they could provide for all nine of their kids. However, the couple had been helping another family drive to and from a children's hospital every day and on one of those days, their car's engine experienced a problem. The car could no longer function and the family was left with only one 15-person van that they used to drive their children back and forth.
However, the family of 11 people was surprised with a brand new car by Secret Santa. Their remarkable kindness had been noticed by a local Secret Santa and was being rewarded. They also received gas money, $5000 for groceries and more. The Secret Santa had decided to donate $1 million to deserving people in the area. The outlet was going to distribute the gifts over the course of two months. The couple was surprised by the car while they were at Von's office. "We have nine kids. We had five kids of our own and ended up adopting four others. It has been crazy," Von went on. The entire family was really glad to receive the gifts from Secret Santa.
People appreciated the parents for their kindness in the comments section of the video. @jennifersmith9297 wrote, "We were in the same foster care training class as the Polls when they first took in the four children. Such kind and beautiful people! I love this for them!" @supersaiyanfife commented, "You already have five kids, five! If you're a parent, even with love in your heart, you know what that means. It can be hard. And you take on four more so they can stay together as a family. You folks are what we call angels on earth."
@70chevs remarked, "People who adopt kids are special, especially when they have kids of their own. It is such a financial strain, thanks to Secret Santa for helping this deserving family." @LifeWithSerg shared, "Some of these people are so shocked by the kindness of love that's been given to them that they don't know how to react. They're not ungrateful or unthankful. They just don't know how to feel when such love is bestowed upon them. Every single one of these videos that I've watched over many years has always brought a tear to my eye. This is what humanity is all about. Doing things for others. Please go out and do something for someone you don't know. It is the greatest gift we can give to anyone."
