Pregnant Hooters waitress leaves the internet stunned after sharing how the restaurant is helping her work comfortably

Women go through several bodily changes during pregnancy and even after childbirth. One of the major ones is their belly getting bigger as the fetus grows within. Dressing up for work can be tedious and challenging during these months. For workplaces that have a uniform or dress code, it is all the more of a hassle. Companies should be thoughtful about their pregnant employees and ensure they offer a supportive, respectful and comfortable environment and provisions throughout. The Hooters restaurant has been doing this exceptionally well, per PEOPLE. Ever since waitress and mom-to-be Gabrielle Harlan (@gabrielleharlan) shared her experience of working with the outlet during her pregnancy, she has left people impressed.

The woman has been sharing videos of herself at work at the restaurant as a waiter. Throughout, she mentions that she loves her job and is glad to proudly wear the uniform and serve customers. However, ever since she got pregnant, her belly naturally started growing and fitting into the regular uniforms was out of question. Harlan did not need to worry about it as Hooters already had her covered with their support. The company has a top-notch policy for their pregnant employees, which includes a comfortable maternity uniform. The uniform consists of a black-fitting t-shirt and black shorts, which are super homey and warm.

Flaunting the uniform at 23 weeks pregnant, the mom-to-be wrote in her video, “Finally big enough to wear the maternity uniform.” She added that the maternity fit was “so comfortable” compared to the regular uniform. People didn’t even know Hooters had a maternity uniform and were stoked to learn of their hospitality for their employees. @justcatdude wrote, “They have a maternity uniform? That’s just too freakin’ cute." @singlelooking4wif added, “I love your outfit.” Sharing another follow-up video, this time with a bigger belly bump at 32 weeks, Harlan was delighted to feel right at home with her fit.

The material of the uniform was designed to stretch and hug the body and belly without causing any discomfort. Apart from maternity fits, Hooters is also dedicated to providing comfort for their employees when it comes to uniforms. “As we continue to listen and update the image of the Hooters Girls, we are clarifying that they have the option to choose from traditional uniforms or the new ones. They can determine which style of shorts best fits their body style and personal image,” their policy reads. They added that “self-expression and inclusivity” are characteristics they stand by and will not hold the girls back from exhibiting these when they’re at work.

People love the warmth the outlet is offering and it’s boosted the idea of pregnant women at work comfortably. In a comment, the waitress added, “They do make onesies for the babies too. It says ‘Hoot Hoot’ on the front and ‘Toot Toot’ at the back.” @latoxiiborii said, “This outfit looks so cute on you!” @allysa.sequeira wrote, “You look so cute, enjoy the belly as much as you can.” @nana8257666 said, “You are so much stronger. You got this mama!” @yassicantstfu remarked, “That’s honestly so cool.”
