Cravings during pregnancy can be uncontrollable, and relief comes only when they are satisfied. One woman named Jaelah Raley, who goes by @freejae94, shared a post on Threads on Sunday, October 25, 2026, revealing she had a craving at 5.30 am. She went to a McDonald’s drive-thru and asked for an apple pie along with her order. When she told the cashier the unexpected item was due to her pregnancy, the employee had the sweetest response.

Raley asked for a breakfast meal along with an apple pie. She acknowledged that asking for the latter so early in the morning was likely unusual and explained it was a pregnancy craving. The cashier told her not to worry and assured her that many people get the same with their morning orders. The woman later told the employee she had considered getting a cookie, but the pie won the debate. She took her bag and reached home only to realize that the worker had put two freebies in her bag too. She heard the mom-to-be mention a cookie and decided to add the cookie for her. The customer noted that she had no details about the employee other than the fact that she was the sweetest person. In a comment, Raley added, “I teared up! I got apple pie and cookies! I hope I see her again to say thank you!”

She later added that her little gesture made her day even more special because it was the day of her baby shower. @sanjeev5587 wrote, “Kindness like that just hits different, especially on a freezing early morning.” @sarahdot85 added, “What a sweet, thoughtful thing to do.” @potempann remarked, “Sweet gesture! Pay it forward. We need more kindness surprises in our days.” Kindness doesn’t need an occasion; it can leave an impact through the most random, unexpected ways. In a similar occurrence, a woman’s pregnancy cravings pushed her to drive to Wendy’s for their spicy nuggets.

Unfortunately, when she placed her order, the cashier informed her that they were short two pieces. She was given the option to wait for a fresh batch or choose two pieces of regular nuggets instead. The customer was clear about what she wanted—there was no negotiating when it came to her cravings. She told the worker that she needed the spicy nuggets. “Say less, I’ve got you,” the cashier replied. After a short wait, the customer received her order, along with an unexpected surprise. The employee went out of her way to ask the kitchen staff to prepare a portion of hot fries to accompany her nuggets. The mom was thrilled to receive the extra side; it became a gesture she would remember for a long time.
