She had ordered paper towels and a few other items for her condo while relaxing at home. She did not expect the delivery to leave her feeling unsafe and traumatized after the order was completed.
The concern came from the information connected to the delivery. Ashley realized that a stranger now knew her home address, unit number, and even her phone number. What made the situation more uncomfortable was that the man contacted her directly after the delivery. His first message said, "You are so beautiful." He then continued sending personal messages that went beyond a normal interaction between a delivery worker and customer. The content creator found it disturbing because she had simply placed a routine household order from the comfort of her home that night. The messages became more inappropriate as the conversation continued.
At one point, the man wrote, "Instead of robbing you, I'd bring you down the moon," mixing a disturbing reference with an unwanted compliment. He also told Ashley that she was pretty and reminded her to take care of herself. The exchange left her questioning how easily a stranger could access personal details through a delivery. Her experience showed why privacy matters during ordinary tasks, especially when a service connects customers with workers who know where they live. Ashley explained that incidents like this add to the fear that many women already carry during everyday situations.
