When a person is not feeling well, they might need a little help from their friends and family. However, sometimes, they get more than what they would have ever expected. A similar thing happened with a sick woman who had requested her mother-in-law to shop for the family as everyone at her house was sick. The daughter-in-law, Makenzie Hubbell–who goes by @chunkymak on TikTok–shared how her mother-in-law had bought them everything they wanted and more. The internet felt that she had scored the mother-in-law lottery.

"My entire family is sick, so I asked my mother-in-law to shop for us and this is everything she got. Just wait," the woman began. The family asked for one pack of Gatorade, but the mother-in-law got two packs. "We asked for some goldfish for my son, for when he starts eating, she got us the box." She asked for chicken nuggets and got two bags of the same. "We asked for ground turkey. She got us two." The family hadn't even asked, but the mom still got a box of strawberries for them. "Very thankful. Strawberries are insanely expensive." Also, Hubbell's family wanted chicken breast and thought her mother-in-law would get a little pack. "She got the family size." Also, she bought a book for her grandson.

It was Hubbell's birthday, so her mother-in-law got a big pack of cupcakes with pink and white frosting. "And then she brought me a birthday gift." Hubbell felt very thankful for her mother-in-law and everything she did for them. "If you were wondering what she got me, she got me this cherry treats candle and it smells amazing." She also got a pink t-shirt from her father-in-law that was absolutely her style and felt that her mother-in-law probably picked that out for her as well. "Let's be real here." The caption to the video read, "I fear the Gatorade won't last more than 3 days."

"I felt like she went above and beyond for us. You don't hear about good mothers-in-law often; I thought this would be a nice change of pace. I think the video got the recognition it deserved and pushed more positive mother-in-law stories in the comments, which I have loved reading," Hubbell told Newsweek. People took to the comment section to appreciate what the mother-in-law had done for the family. @karolvasquez1211 wrote, "Girl, you're the luckiest lady living on this planet right now. Please send our love and blessings to your in-laws. They're wonderful. Tell them we love them. I hope y'all are doing great now."

@chathambatham commented, "So happy when I hear positive mom-in-law stories on this app. While I am not one or have one, it always seems like they’re getting such a bad reputation." @lishleen1010 remarked, "My ex's mother, my oldest son’s grandma, drops off a care package of groceries every time she goes to Costco. Always a rotisserie chicken. muffins, fruit, snacks for school and fresh veggies." @dulcied72 shared, "My mom-in-law is the same way…but times 4. If I asked her to pick some things up, it would be a haul. Those of us that are blessed, appreciate them!"
