Many parents wish to do their best for their children. However, people might feel that they fell short and couldn't give their kid everything they wanted to. One dad from Korea felt that too as he struggled to raise his son and didn't feel like he deserved the support the son in his 20s was giving him. So before the son, Jun Yuh, moved away from his dad, he decided to give him a big gift and a special note, per Yuh's Instagram post at @jun_yuh on September 7. The clip has received over 15.9 million views so far.

Jun Yuh surprised his dad with $15,000 before he moved away and explained his reason behind the gesture. "Thank you so much for supporting me for these past 24 years. We have suffered through a lot in these years, but through it all, there has never been a single moment when I doubted your love for me," the dad read aloud from the note. "You did your best and you are the reason I am the person I am today." The son expressed that he would always look up to his dad and keep god first. "Thank you, genuinely. I love you, Dad." The moment the dad was done reading the note, he gave his son a big hug and started crying.

"Recently, my dad has been apologizing to me a lot. He feels guilty, believing he doesn’t deserve the support I’m giving him. But this is only the beginning," the caption explained. Jun Yuh felt that it was his responsibility to give back as a son, not out of duty, but out of love. "No matter what I spend money on, this is the one thing I will never regret." In the second part of the three-part video series, the son promised that he would take care of his dad. "How lucky am I to be living every kid’s dream of taking care of their parents. I’ve been crying nonstop for the last four days."

In the third part, Jun Yuh tried to explain what actually happened that day and pointed out that he was "rewriting" his family's legacy. In the video, he showed that he had simply told his dad that he wanted to give him a gift before leaving. His first gift was a watch that his dad was really impressed by. He also gave his dad a bag, which actually carried the money the son was planning to give. The dad thanked the son for growing up to be such a "wonderful person." He added, "The way that you care and think about me so deeply means everything to me." The creator admitted that he had given his dad money privately before, but decided to share the moment for a special reason. "However, so many of you share the same dream as I started social media with, which was to rewrite my family’s legacy. Therefore, I wanted to share this little moment with my online family here as well."

People appreciated the son in the comments section of the video. @rosette.theresa wrote, "God is good. So happy to see the love you have for your dad and how much you’re able to take care of him. To see and hear how grateful your dad feels is everything. Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful moments." @lazypandathlete commented, "That’s what we do for our Korean parents. Appreciate what they did for us and return the favor. Mine have done so much to get to where they are today and I hope to make their retired years even better." @tamrinolden remarked, "May God continue to bless you both. Thank you for sharing."
