Some situations might require a little out-of-the-box thinking. In one brother and sister's case, they also needed a willingness to break stereotypes to do something that was important. The sister, Jea Josue Lim Bungcaras, was wearing a skirt as she went to take a college entrance test. She was not allowed inside the center because of the dress code policies. Her brother, Jann-Marco Christian, was with her that day and did something powerful so she could easily take the test, according to a Facebook post by her brother.

"My sister couldn't take her college admissions test wearing this skirt, so I let her borrow my pants," the brother wrote in the caption. The woman was wearing a yellow skirt before and was not allowed inside, so she wore her brother's pants and he put on her skirt. The man wore the skirt as a kind gesture to his sister and posed for several photos with Jea and by himself as well. People on the internet were really impressed by the man's gesture and showed him their support. The post also received over 10,000 reactions and more than 17,000 shares.

In an edit, the brother revealed, "We never expected this to blow up; it was just a simple familial gesture I did for my sister so that she could take the exam on time and I just wanted to share how cute we look." He added, "It is an honor that we were able to tug on your heartstrings and I hope these photos will encourage everyone to be kinder to one another, especially towards family." The duo was really thankful for all the love they had received on the internet. People in the comments section felt that the brother did the best possible thing for his sister.

Dae Delano wrote, "I love it! You look so fabulous and it’s so you!" Donna Yep Tis Moi commented, "The Philippines is really nonsense sometimes. That's just a skirt. Why should it be a reason behind people not being able to take an exam?" Bea Tomagon knew that her brother would do such a thing for her, too, but her clothes might not fit him. She remarked, "I know you can do this for me, but my clothes might not fit you." Their mom, Jocelyn, shared, "I love you, dear... No matter who you are. Despite everything. As a parent... I love all my children." The brother responded, "I love you too, Mom. But it's Jea's skirt. She couldn't take an exam if she wore this, that's why we exchanged. She is wearing my pants now, haha."

Many people might find themselves in a fix because of clothes during important moments. One woman also found herself in such a situation when her prom dress ripped minutes before she was about to leave the house. Unfortunately, the family had also moved into a new house at that time, so they didn't know where their sewing stuff was kept. But then the woman, Lexie, was stunned when her mom came up with a unique solution to stitch her prom dress with dental floss, bobby pins and cuticle scissors. Lexie's older sister, Allie Kamps, who goes by @alliekamps on TikTok, shared her mom's ingenious idea with the platform.
