Twins selling teddy bear by the roadside were disappointed when people ignored them—until a Hollywood star pulled over

Twin brothers Allen and Brandon Alexander were upset after spending a while trying to sell their 8-foot teddy bear on the road, per HELLO!. Before they could give their hopes up, a kind Hollywood celebrity pulled over and changed their lives.

The twins were on the road with signs and hopes to sell their big teddy bear named “Big Bear” for $50. They were excited at first, showing the signs proudly as the bear was placed behind them. Unfortunately, after an hour of persistent effort, no one showed up. The boys’ dad, Tim, had been filming their experience and shared the same on YouTube. “Please buy,” the kids said, looking at the camera. “He's a big bear and he's going cheap and this big boy's got a big buyer,” he said. Just when the kids were disappointed, they saw a white Cadillac approaching them. They couldn’t believe who stepped out.

Hollywood actor and mom Angelina Jolie stepped out with her daughter, Shiloh, to see what the twin boys had to offer. Looking at the duo and their big bear, she knew she was going to make a purchase. She introduced herself as “Angie” to the family. The mom and dad were on top of the world to see who their prospective buyer was. Hearing their offer, the actor decided to change it to $50 each for both boys since they had put in quite the effort. “You are so good at doing your job. You guys are so cool. It's so nice to meet you,” the iconic celebrity remarked. The clip also captured the family, the actor and her daughter hands-on, trying to fit the bear into her Cadillac trunk.
With much excitement and united effort, they finally managed to put the stuffed toy into the car. The dad revealed that the boys initially had no idea who had just purchased their teddy bear. He later showed them “Kung Fu Panda” and told them that the voice behind “Master Tigress” was none other than their buyer from earlier on. It undoubtedly made the boys’ day and settled as a priceless memory in their hearts. Having celebrities come through unexpectedly is a one-of-a-kind feeling. Actor Paul Rudd came to another teenager's rescue after his classmates refused to sign his yearbook, per The Arrow.
His mom, Cassandra Rider, revealed in a Facebook post that Brody received only 4 signatures: 2 from friends and 2 from his teachers. He was disheartened, and when the mom’s post went viral, the actor stepped in. He wrote to Brody, “When life gets tough, there are so many things that get better. I can’t wait to see all of the amazing things you’re going to accomplish.” He also sent him an "Ant-Man" helmet on which he wrote, “To my good friend Brody, for when he takes on the world.” One can’t imagine the treasure this experience will be for the boy and his family—all because a celebrity used their popularity to spread love.
