Vanessa shared that it was a normal workday until an Uber driver nearly hit her while she was crossing the road. Later that evening, she decided to stop at a bar alone before a friend's birthday party, where she struck up a conversation with the woman sitting next to her. To her surprise, the stranger immediately recognized her, saying, "My Uber driver almost hit you today." As they continued talking, the topic of relationships surfaced. While the other person had been in and out of relationships, Vanessa had been single for a while and admitted that sometimes, the wait was challenging.
