When it comes to purchasing furniture and homeware, people want something sturdy and durable enough to last for ages. Think about the best way you have tried and tested furniture before purchasing it. Maybe you read the description? Maybe took recommendations? Maybe took a rating? At max, you might have tapped the item to get a feel of what it's like. You have definitely not tried furniture the way Jessie Lee (@jessicaleejessie) has. The woman shared a video of herself at IKEA, testing a table in the most hilarious way. She recreated a scene from a 2018 film and it's undoubtedly a deal breaker in picking the most apt furniture for home.

Lee began by sitting at the table and pretending to use the cutlery to have a meal. She then suddenly broke out into an act, depicting a popular scene from both, movies and real life. Lee started a verbal fight, as seen between a mother and her son in Ari Aster's 2018 film "Hereditary." She sprang up from the table, hitting the knife and fork on the same and yelled, “Don’t you swear at me you little sh*t!” Speaking in thin air, Lee was now in the middle of an intense pretend fight, but little did we know, she was checking how much the furniture could take. “I am your mother. All I do is worry, slave and defend,” she yelled while slamming her palm to the table. “And all I get is that f**king face on your f**king face,” she added. All the while, the woman tried leaning against the table as she pointed her fingers in the opposite direction. However, the table and chair, both didn’t move a muscle.

Towards the end, Lee tried moving the chair with her fingers to see if it easily moved but it passed the test and stood firm on the ground. The furniture had perfectly understood the assignment and with its perfect resistance, immediately got into character. People just loved her "brilliant performance" and her method of trying out furniture while shopping at stores and most of the viewers related to the tragically bizarre family chaos at the dinner table. @markusbertheim said, “We have to normalize playing pretend at IKEA.” @jaizacal added, “This performance was 10/10.” @anuwasser remarked, “I thought it was a sound from a movie or something!” Many thought it was a genius move from IKEA’s marketing but they were wrong. This was a clear recreation straight from almost everyone’s childhood. @staceymecorelliph said, “It’s giving ‘IKEA Heights,’ a great comedy series.”

@tanyche asked, “Is this an IKEA ad?” Many people were just in awe of how well the woman recreated the intense scene from "Hereditary" with a touch of humor. @mahoganybaby, referring to the film, added, “Do you all remember the, ‘I am your mother'? Golden.” @ayoclown wrote, “Best scene from 'Hereditary,' hands down.” Watch the exact scene from the film here:

Several people agreed that there was no better way to check out furniture. @quelind_ remarked, “A table has to give the right energy when you slam things on it otherwise it’s a no-go for me.” @bridget_hayley said, “I will be using this method to test furniture from now on, thank you.” @caramegeep noted, “I have this table, so good to know it will hold up!” @imtash_ said, “The only correct way to shop at IKEA.”
