Woman was heartbroken after learning she couldn't become a mom — then her sister reached out and changed everything

Sometimes families go above and beyond to help fulfill a loved one's dream. A woman's two sisters did just that for her when she came to know that she couldn't become a mom. She had dreamt of having a baby and was heartbroken with the turn of events until her sisters found a way to help her. The woman, Jaclyn Fieberg, shared that she had hit every possible roadblock during her fertility journey, per TODAY.com. The woman and her husband had gone through seven unsuccessful rounds of IVF and three miscarriages and discovered that the woman had endometriosis and a chromosomal condition that affected her fertility.

Eventually, doctor Matthew Lederman of RMA of New York—Westchester, suggested that she could use an egg donor and the woman's younger sister immediately volunteered for that. The sister, Meredith McIntyre, remarked that she knew that she had to do this for Fieberg. "I don’t know how she went through the journey that she’s been through. It’s been years and it was so hard for her family to see her struggle. It was just blow after blow," McIntyre shared. Unfortunately, the first attempt to transfer her egg to her sister was unsuccessful. So then the woman's older sister, Stephanie Corritori, stepped in as a surrogate. The moment Fieberg asked her, she said yes and expressed that her answer would always be "yes."

Both sisters reassured Fieberg that they would stand by her side no matter what happened. "Once the transfer took, I remember I fell to my knees and I just hoped and prayed," Corritori shared. The pregnancy was confirmed in June 2023 and the woman wished that she would carry it to term for her sister. She made her best efforts to stay positive and curated a special playlist. "I remember I have a playlist that I listened to and it’s called 'We’ve Got This' because it was a team; it was everybody." Eventually, Fieberg's daughter, Emersyn Clare, was born on February 1, 2024. The mom wanted her little girl to know just how "wanted" she was.

"She’s going to know her story and she’s going to know how wanted she was and that her aunts did the most selfless, incredible thing." Her sister was still on the delivery bed when she congratulated the woman for becoming a mom. The baby was seven pounds at the time of birth and completely healthy, per Studio 1A, where the three sisters appeared with the baby. Fieberg shared that she was completely in awe when she saw her daughter for the first time. When asked how motherhood was for her, the woman answered that it was "amazing." She added, "It is better than I even dreamt of and I can't believe we are here right now."

Fieberg shared that she constantly hoped that maybe the next attempt would be successful throughout her journey. "I just couldn’t give it up. I’ve always wanted to be a mom. I was invested and I kept praying that we'd finally have a miracle." The woman's younger sister shared that she was forever ready to help her. The older sister, on the other hand, expressed that she was really excited that they got the news about the pregnancy on their mom's birthday, who had been waiting for the baby for a long time. "She’s finally here. So we’re just so grateful," Fieberg pointed out.
