Young boy asked strangers through Ring camera if he could power-wash their driveways for college money — but their response took an unexpected turn

The boy, named Justin, explained to the homeowners through the Ring camera that he wanted to earn money to help himself and his parents and save for college. “I was wondering if I could pressure wash your driveway. You can give me whatever you want. I just want to make a little bit of money,” he said politely. The homeowners were impressed by his initiative and told him to go ahead. Even though they were not at home, they left instructions to find the water hose around the front of the house so he could complete the task. However, the couple did not just pay him for his efforts, but also helped raise over $18,000 in his college funds, as the community appreciated his hard work and extended their support.

The footage released by the TikTok couple shows Justin diligently cleaning the front entrance and driveway, fully focused on the work he was given. His dedication and sense of responsibility stood out in every frame. Many internet users were moved by Justin’s effort, which garnered over 2.9 million views and highlighted how rare it is to see such young people take responsibility in this way.

In a further update, the user revealed that she also created a GoFundMe account for Justin, doing her best on her end to help him reach his goal. Justin and his father paid a visit to their house to show gratitude for all the kindness and donations. "It was really nice to meet and see where Justin gets his drive and kindness from; his dad is a big influence," she noted. She added that she exchanged numbers with his father in case any help was needed in the future, and also expressed appreciation for the kind messages from internet users.
