Some adults might show incredible amounts of patience with kids and give them wonderful core memories. A five-year-old boy made one such memory when he kept asking questions to the electricians who worked at his house for six weeks. The company ended up paying him minimum wages for that time to show their appreciation. It came as quite a suprise for the boy's mom. The woman, Laura-Nicole Anderson, took to Facebook to share the kind gesture by the electricians and it touched many people on the internet.

The mom shared a photo of the payslip for her son, Theo, from Seytons Electrical and appreciated their "sweetest act of kindness" through the caption. "We have had the electricians in every other week for the past 6 weeks and Theo has been obsessed with them!" Anderson explained. "He has hounded them with questions, kindness and constant offers of help!" The woman thought that the electricians would have become sick of the family and must be happy when their work was finally over before the surprise. "One of them popped over today to finish something quickly and surprised Theo with this!" the mom said talking about the payslip and 15 Euros ($15.56) cash. Anderson was quite excited about her son's "first job" and thanked the electrical company for their kindness.
"You have made Theo’s day!" the post concluded. The boy had been paid for things like "measuring of items, counting and adding up number of sockets, catering (yummy cookies), excellent volunteering" and the highest amount, 9 Euros ($9.34), for "quality assurance (asking lots of questions)." The payslip even had the boy's name on it. "[He] was really inquisitive as kids at that age tend to be and was constantly asking questions," Seytons Electrical told 7 News. “His mum Laura kept telling him to leave us be as we had important work to carry out but he wanted to be involved. So we gave him a few tasks to carry out." Many people took to the comments section of the post to appreciate the gesture.
Sophie Bartesch wrote, "Aah that's so kind! Makes my heart happy. Good work Theo!" Claire Brack commented, "Oh my goodness, this is so lovely. How thoughtful of this company to do something so kind that would mean the world to a little one, love this." Kelly Matchan remarked, "So lovely - there are good people in this world! Sometimes it's easy to forget that outside of your circles." In one of the comments, the mom pointed out, "Well...WOW! Wasn’t expecting this to go viral! Apparently, it has on X and LinkedIn as well. Thank you to everyone who has commented, liked and shared! I have been in touch with the electrician and he is super shocked!"
"Genuinely shocked to see how this has developed and how many people such a tiny gesture has touched is absolutely unreal," a spokesperson from the company said, talking about people's reaction to the post. In another update, Anderson revealed that the boy had decided to get an Easter egg for his brother. The caption read, "Theo loved spending some of his wages on buying an Easter egg for his brother! So sweet!" The post also had a photo of Theo at the self-checkout, paying for the gift.
