73-year-old 'Nana' finds man who is 'obsessed with her' and their adorable exchange leaves granddaughter in awe

If one can't find love in the early days of their lives, there is no reason to lose hope or give up on finding the ideal partner. Kennedy Crichlow's (@kennedycrichlow on TikTok) grandmother is the perfect example of finding a loving partner in her '70s. The content creator shared two videos of her 73-year-old grandma, whom she lovingly calls "nana," enjoying a sweet moment with her partner.

The first video showed Crichlow's grandma dressed in an all-black outfit with shades on. She posed against a wall as her partner held a phone, trying to find the correct angle to get her picture. "I'm going to take a picture. Will you stop moving around?" he asked Crichlow's grandma while instructing her to strike a variation of poses. "Okay. Do something else." Her grandma couldn't figure out what exactly her partner was looking for while trying to click a perfect photo of her.
"What? What would you like me to do? There you go," she questioned, looking a tad bit confused. "It only took Nana 73 years to find a man that is obsessed with her," Crichlow wrote on the overlay text of the video. In the second video, she replied to a commentator who stated that her grandma was cooler than most of the Gen Z people. The video showed Crichlow's grandma and her partner in the living room, doing a little dance to Roy Orbison's song "Pretty Woman." The elderly couple imitated how they used to dance like in the 70s to retro music.
The little banter between the couple and their chemistry was enough to draw in hundreds of fellow TikTok users in the comment sections. All of them gushed at how Crichlow's grandma and her partner were setting an example as the perfect couple. @crybaby1031 complimented, "Oh my god, I dress just like your nana and now I’m so excited to keep this style into older adulthood." @larocheposayus wrote, "At last, somebody that matches her dope energy." @demon23_3 quipped, "I need a man like him." @miranda.aliese remarked, "Saving this video for style inspiration when I’m 73."

@itspaigerman commented, "She’s so chic — I want to be her when I grow up." @heartlessmajesty remarked, "It took me 3 seconds and I’m already obsessed with her." Many others in the comment section also requested Crichlow to post a storytime video on how her Nana met the man of her dreams who adores her. Just like Nana, another cool grandmother won over the internet because of how she dealt with a school bully. The granny, who goes by u/RumBunBun on Reddit, took to the online platform and shared how she cleverly shut down a boy who was bullying her grandson.

The grandma was attending her grandson Sam's sports session when he was teased by a bully for hugging his grandma. "After the game, as he hugged me, I heard a nearby voice saying, 'Look, everyone! Isn’t that sweet? Sam’s hugging his Grandma!' I felt Sam tense up, and he immediately ended the hug," the woman noted. She added, "I was not going to let that person ruin those special hugs, so I turned to the kid who’d taunted Sam, grabbed him in a bear hug, and exclaimed, 'Oh, are you jealous? You must need a Grandma hug, too!'" The bully was left stunned and he never bothered the grandson again.
