In today's world, where it is hard to maintain relationships for decades, some couples redefine love in many ways. Surely, date nights and surprises keep the spark alive, but what's more important is their secret love language that brings them closer. This profound truth about romance was highlighted when Maryah Greene – who goes by @maryahgreene on TikTok – shared how her father, a basketball referee, has been making a secret signal on live TV that no one except his wife understands.

The man had been a basketball referee for over 15 years, but every time he was on TV, he made sure to signal his beloved wife. In the now-viral video, Greene was sitting with her mother, watching her father live on TV. Greene was completely engrossed in capturing her father when her mother, sitting right beside her, shared the secret behind the man's sweet gesture. "He will send me a signal. He said that when he gets ready, when someone has a 3-pointer, and he gets ready to toss in the ball, he's going to wipe his nose," Greene's mother revealed.

While the gesture itself might not be as romantic as someone expects, the precious moment revealed how much he loved his wife, thinking about her in every situation. Simultaneously, a part of the onscreen text read, "Whenever his game is on ESPN, he secretly signals my mom, and it makes her day." "Seeing my mom so giddy every time he does it makes me so happy," Greene wrote in the caption. The heartwarming video received an overwhelming response on social media, garnering over a million views. @cdianeruffin1 commented, "This is so very sweet. My heart smiles. Well done to her husband." @sincerely.cierra wrote, "I’ve never seen the POV of the referee's family cheering him on, but now I feel differently about how people are always yelling at them." On the other hand, @junglecruiser revealed, "I was a referee also. The one game I did on ESPN, I did the secret sign to my wife, but she was watching 'Seinfeld.'"

In another story, a bride who had lost her father recently was delightfully surprised by her groom, who stepped in to fulfill her father-daughter dance dream on their wedding day. Don Perez knew how much his wife, Shannon, wanted to do the dance with her father at her wedding. Unfortunately, she lost her father to cancer and couldn't turn her wedding dream into reality. But Perez was so determined that he wouldn't let his wife's wish go unfulfilled.

The wholesome video captured Perez and his wife dancing joyfully on their big day. After their dance, he took the stage and performed for his wife along with his sons. But wait! That wasn't the end. Perez donned a T-shirt that read, "May I have this dance?" and danced with Shannon again. At one point, both of them were visibly emotional as they tried to control their tears. The couple wrapped the wedding ceremony with a kiss as the audience applauded them.
