A TikTok user who goes by @housecatchronicles shared on May 23, 2026, how one customer recognized this during an outing with a man at a restaurant. When his meal arrived, he seemed disgusted and insisted it be taken away. Despite the server offering to remake it and asking what the issue was, he simply asked to “get it out of here.” The conversation turned tense, and the manager became involved. However, minutes after the interaction, the middle-aged woman's one move had the waitress applauding.
The couple appeared to be in their mid 50s or 60s, and when their meal arrived, the man seemed annoyed and dissatisfied. He refused to touch his plate. When the server came to check on them, she asked what the issue was. He only said, “Get it out of here.” After multiple exchanges went nowhere, she reluctantly took the food back and spoke with her manager, who promised to take care of it himself. Minutes later, the woman walked toward the bathroom. About 10 minutes in, when she still hadn’t returned, it dawned on the waitress that she had left. “That’s what you do when the person that you’re with is acting a complete fool,” she said. “You don’t just sit there.”
The worker didn’t see a visible issue with the order; it was exactly what he had requested. When she continued to ask if he had any complaints, he bluntly replied, “Give it to the chef, let the chef eat it.” At this point, his disgusted reaction made it seem like there was something seriously wrong. Suspecting mold or another issue, she asked the customer what the problem was again, only to receive the same response: “Take this plate and get out of here.”
Meanwhile, the woman was focused on her food, not even looking up to notice the commotion unfolding at her table. Moments later, she got up, went to the waitress, and asked, “Did he just yell at you?” “Yes,” the server replied. She then apologized and said it was out of line for him to react that way. Her decision to leave him at that table is what the server asked people to take note of. She explained that such disrespectful behavior should not be ignored.

After making her wait outside his apartment for 20 minutes, the man commented on the waitress once they arrived at the restaurant.
He looked at her and said, “This girl, I can tell she really likes meat.” Embarrassed by his remark, Hiegel made it clear that she was on a first date with him and didn’t know him. While the first two encounters already raised red flags, the man kept ordering multiple items and pestering the employee to rearrange the table again and again. After the meal ended, Hiegel vowed not to see him again and blocked him.
