Teen finally finds the phone he lost at graduation ceremony — then, discovers a surprising video message from a stranger
The fear of losing a phone is quite real. Moreover, after losing, they only hope to find it as soon as possible and be able to find everything intact on it. However, a teenager named Isaac — who goes by @.isaacj on TikTok — was stunned to find something more along with the content on his phone. He had lost his phone during his graduation ceremony. When he found it, he realized a stranger had recorded a surprise message on it. This message made such an impact on his life that people are now calling it his graduation present. There was no context whatsoever except that Isaac must have been frantically looking for his phone after losing it.
He did manage to take a few pictures throughout his graduation, per a previous post. The stranger who found his phone was a girl who happened to be at the graduation ceremony. She spotted the phone and decided to record a video message for Isaac. She said, “I just want you to know that whoever lost their phone, you left it here on this thing,” she said, patting a corner of the podium. From the looks of it, the ceremony was long over, as the chairs were all empty and no one but a few people were present there.
“I just want to leave you a real quick present,” she said. She proceeded to place the phone at a distance and moved a few steps back. Without further thought, she broke into a quick dance, including trending steps like the shoulder wave. With a few moves in a matter of seconds, she gave the most random yet enthusiastic energy. She immediately grabbed the phone after she was done, and holding it in its horizontal mode, she shared one last quick message for Isaac. “Happy Graduation. I hope your life brings you great joy,” she remarked, ever so cheerfully and delightfully.
“Blessings on your journey,” she said while abruptly shaking the video in aggressive excitement before stopping it. The girl in the video was identified in the comments as @i.maiyaaa.2.0. She wrote, “Congratulations, Isaac,” to which he replied, “Thank you for finding my phone!” The girl seemed to be a fellow graduate, but had no idea whose phone it was. Isaac, too, was so intrigued by the whole incident that he had no words to post in the caption along with the video. Or let’s just say this cheerful stranger’s goodwill said it all. Many people commented on the post, calling it a wholesome experience.
The video went viral and garnered nearly 2 million views, which led people to call the impromptu happening a “graduation present.” @izzyizgo said, “She gave him a viral TikTok post as a graduation present.” @nene_97_ added, “Don’t ever delete this, Isaac!
