Love has a way of waiting patiently for its moment to be fully expressed. For one couple, J Louis and Kina Hermida, this moment came 36 years after their marriage. Kina got her dream proposal after almost four decades of first saying "I do", as she got married young due to their daughter. Denisse Hermida, the couple's firstborn, went on to share the heartwarming proposal on their Instagram page, The Hermidas (@thehermidas), saying, "It's never too late." The viral video captured hearts online and received 225,000 views.
Denisse, in the overlay text of the video, wrote: "My parents got married so young (because of me) and 36 years later, my dad gave my mom the proposal she's always dreamed of." In the clip, Louis begins by saying, "We were just two kids when we got married. We didn't have anything... life was difficult in the beginning for both of us, but especially for you." Louis thanked his wife for her patience and loyalty, adding that she had helped him become the man he is today. He then got down on one knee and asked his wife the question he could never ask properly: "Will you be my wife?" With tears of love in her eyes, Kina said, "Yes."
The heartwarming proposal left viewers emotional.
