Man left baffled after adoptive mom going through his Facebook profile reveals his coworker is actually his biological dad

Sometimes a person might discover connections and relationships in the most unusual ways. A man knew that he was adopted all his life. At the same time, his adoptive parents knew exactly who his biological parents were but never got a chance to tell him about them because the man never asked. Until one day when the man was browsing through Facebook with his adoptive mom and she pointed out that a coworker who had been working with him for two years at the time was actually his biological dad as per CBS News.

The man, Nathan Boos from Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin shared that he never thought he would ever find his parents. The man was adopted right at birth from Marshfield. "My mom came by one day and told me, 'Well, you are friends with your dad on Facebook,'" the man recounted. Boos found out that his biological father was a truck driver just like him and was quite surprised by the information. The information made him very curious so his mom opened his Facebook and went through his friends list. "She brought up his picture and I said get out of here," the man said out of pure shock after discovering who his biological dad was.

The man had been working with Boos in Rock Solid Transportation for the past two years and had no idea that Nathan was actually his son. The man contacted his father Bob Degaro and decided to talk to him. "He messaged me on Facebook one day," Degaro revealed. "Asked me if I knew his biological mother." The man confirmed that he knew the mother and she was his ex wife. "I fell about my seat and I was like, oh my god," the man expressed as he discovered the truth about Nathan. The man had two other kids apart from Nathan with his ex wife and expressed that it was a difficult choice to give the man up for adoption. The family had to give him up for adoption because of the financial constraints they were facing at that time. 

"Back then I wasn't much of a dad. His biological mom had chosen the adoptive parents and like, because they were someone related, distant cousins I believe," Degaro shared. "But I didn't know that." Both of them are now looking forward to growing their friendship after the discovery. "It's still kind of a shock and there are days when I am not sure exactly what to say and how to act," the dad pointed out. "I mean, he is my son but yet we didn't have that father-son relationship growing up." He added, "Then we became working partners before we knew who we really were." Nathan commented, "We are taking it one day at a time, one mile at a time." The dad is now planning to attend Nathan's wedding as per WEAU.com.
