TikTok user Kae, who goes by @wellitskae, narrated an incident involving his friend Avery. She was nervous and excited to join her boyfriend, Nate, and his family on a vacation. However, she was devastated to find herself seated in economy, while everyone else was flying first class. When she turned to her boyfriend, she was met with silence instead. On April 28, 2026, Kae revealed how the experience forced Avery to stand up for herself, leaving everyone speechless.
Avery, who worked as a nurse, was invited to join Nate's family for a trip. On the day of the trip, Avery was greeted warmly by her boyfriend's mother. When the boarding passes were handed out, she realized that everyone received first-class tickets except her. While she expected her boyfriend to respond to the humiliation, she was shocked by his reaction. He told her that it was "just a seat," and asked her "not to create a scene." The older woman, too, pointed out that she should feel "grateful" for being included. However, Avery immediately stepped out of the boarding line and decided to call off the trip.
