Married couple stunned after spotting themselves in each other's photos from 11 years before they met
Destiny has its own way of bringing two people together. Sometimes, it can be mysterious while other times, it looks straight out of a fairytale. A Chinese couple identified as Mr. and Mrs. Ye were shocked after finding out that they had crossed paths in the year 2000, oblivious to each other's existence let alone imagining they'd become a couple after meeting more than a decade later in 2011, as per Chinese local media, reported NBC-affiliated KSDK.
The couple that has been married for a decade now, even welcomed twin daughters but didn't know that destiny had captured them in the same frame years before they met. A picture of the duo was shared on Reddit by u/Alec935 where were spotted posing separately. Both Mr. Ye and Ms. Xue had visited the May Fourth Square in Qingdao as strangers at the time. As young people, each with their plans, going about their day, they accidentally arrived at the same spot, at the same time. The picture was clear evidence of what a perfect meeting it was even though the duo didn’t even see each other that day. Ms. Xue snapped a picture of herself in front of the tower like any other visitor would, but coincidentally her future husband photobombed her and can be seen standing in the background.
Mr. Ye was hardly aware that he had walked into someone else's frame as he posed for his own picture, but in a cosmic turn of events, Mr. Ye made an appearance in his future wife’s picture. The post compared the duo’s single pictures side by side and Mr. Ye is clearly visible in her picture in the same outfit as his image. Only years later when Mr. Ye was flipping through pictures of his wife in her home did he realize how much earlier their paths were united. The couple is now happily married, and they treasure the picture, each other and their life together.
In the comments section, people left adorable remarks for the couple and some even shared that they had similar experiences. "I wonder how often this happens? Like, my wife and I worked in the same city for 4 years before we met, each day we walked down the same street twice in opposite directions. We must have crossed paths thousands of times before we met. It blows my mind," wrote u/AstonVanilla. u/IMIndyJones added, "I was introduced to my bf by a stranger.
