Social media influencer Mia's husband was eight hours away when she decided to pump her own gas. She called him to let him know she was planning to do it herself. In the video shared by the influencer, her husband inquired how she had emptied the gas he had filled a few days earlier. She explained that although she hadn’t traveled far, driving around may have used the fuel. However, when she informed him about pumping the gas herself, he denied her permission. Mia, who was taken aback by his response, told him that she was already at the gas station. Her husband refused and said something that left her stunned.
He revealed that he had already arranged for someone else to fill the gas and further asked her to go home. "I already paid somebody to come do that," he said. Mia appeared confused and shocked by his words. He confirmed by telling her that he had paid someone to pump the gas and that the person would arrive just in time, asking her to hand over the keys to him. Sharing the phone conversation that was captured on the video, the influencer captioned, "His worst nightmare."
Although we are unsure if her husband feared that she might pump the wrong gas or whether it was a thoughtful gesture, the internet is impressed by him. Viewers took to the comments to praise the husband for thinking ahead and planning things for his family when he was away. Some users also shared that he could have done it so that she didn't have to get it done alone, since gas stations aren't always safe.
@SirenBaby remarked, "'I paid someone to come do that,' sent me... like what? He thought way ahead, sis. You're definitely not about to ever pump any gas." @kiii expressed, "Honestly, greenest flag. My husband knows I don't fill up and will just take my car to get it filled up and my tires." @Alexa recounted, "I love this. The fact I was 8.5 pregnant, and my baby daddy sat in the passenger seat while I pumped my gas in the freezing cold."
