She matched with a 32-year-old on Bumble whose bio said ‘pro women’s rights’ — his first message got him unmatched on the spot

The woman was taken aback by the unexpected message and pointed out that age doesn’t always make someone wiser.

Online dating often comes with unpredictability; some entertaining, some startling. A recent incident shared by TikTok user Jezabel (@jezacat) on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, highlights just how quickly things can go sideways. She matched with a 32-year-old man on Bumble whose profile claimed he supported women’s rights. Excited to meet someone who appeared to share her values, she never expected his first message to completely change her mind.

The moment Jezabel saw his message, she knew instantly she would unmatch him. At 10:30 p.m., the man sent her a blunt “come over” as his first line. She later explained, “I have never spoken to this man, I don’t know this man,” emphasizing how inappropriate the approach felt. The next morning, she responded with a sassy but polite “girl, please” and then promptly unmatched him. She noted that his age, 32, made the message even more surprising, showing a lack of courtesy and respect she found unacceptable.

Despite his profile claiming support for women’s rights and human rights, his actions showed the opposite. Jezabel shared how the combination of his age and the first message made her question his sense of decency, pointing out the total absence of chivalry. She further emphasized caution for young women in their late teens who usually message her, noting that while they might assume older men are wiser, that isn’t always the case with many men today. The quick turnaround from matching to unmatching also showed her determination to protect her boundaries and the importance of trusting one’s instincts in such situations rather than just going along with the flow.

Jezabel ended her video on a lighthearted note, joking about the energy it takes to navigate online dating, saying she needed to rest “to fight another day on these dating apps.” The story shows that while modern dating can be uncertain, confidence, humor, and clear boundaries are essential. Sometimes the easiest way to deal with bad behavior is just to move on, and her story gives a funny but clear lesson for anyone trying their luck in online dating.

It only takes a single message to make or break a potential romantic connection. In another similar incident, a woman named Sasha Polaris experienced a situation that reminded her how important mutual respect is in new encounters. While having breakfast alone, a stranger started a short chat, then asked for her Instagram and left. Later, his message completely surprised her and made her rethink casual meetups. Sasha shared the conversation online, showing how quickly boundaries can be pushed.

The man invited her to his villa for a pool day shortly after meeting, and she replied simply, “Really?” She explained they had barely spoken and hadn’t been on a proper date. The man then admitted he had been celibate for three months, which Sasha found unnecessary and uncomfortable. She wrapped up the conversation shortly after, calling the entire incident “crazy” and emphasizing how crucial it is to establish clear boundaries from the start. She later added that experiences like this are part of the reason she has remained single for a long time.
