Not every match on a dating app ends in love; some turn into unforgettable adventures. A woman named Breanna Chandler (@breannachandler) believes that people have not used Tinder to its full potential. Chandler and her friend planned to go to a haunted house. Since her friend got spooked easily, they figured a double date would be safer. The two girls decided to get on Tinder and matched with two strangers, so that they wouldn't go to the haunted house alone. However, that one impulsive decision flipped their expectations about the dating site, as narrated by the TikTok user on October 22, 2025.

Chandler and her best friend wanted to visit a haunted house, but she knew that her friend would easily get scared and cling to her the whole time. To avoid such a situation, she suggested to her friend that both of them could ask two strangers to go out with them as a double date. They downloaded the app and let others know in the bio, "Looking for haunted house double date in 30 minutes." The girls were on their way while searching for potential matches. At first, her friend matched with a man, and when she asked if he could bring his friend, he revealed that he did not have anyone to bring along. This prompted Chandler to look for her own match, and she eventually found one. The girls reached early and decided to get some drinks while they waited for the guys to show up.

First, her friend's date showed up, and they began talking. A little while later, Chandler's match arrived, who looked visibly reserved. She immediately assured the man that it was all right, since they were meeting up with both of the men for the first time. The group headed to the haunted house line, where Chandler informed the boys that the date was planned for a reason. "If there's any chainsaws or spiders, I'm gripping your bicep," she said. However, the haunted house experience was underwhelming. Afterward, the group decided to grab some drinks and had a lot of fun getting to know each other. When their double date came to an end, the two strangers they had just met walked the ladies to the car and went their separate ways. Describing the spontaneous date, Chandler quipped, "It was a successful night; we didn't die."

Chandler's video was loved by online users, who praised her idea. @Hannah recounted, "My best friend and I did this once. Our guys were such opposite people, it was hilarious. My guy is a vegan health nut, and hers was a country boy hunter. So the conversations were absolutely hilarious." @Chelsea mentioned, "I've done this! Huge success! I was on vacation, and I used Tinder to find locals to take me to fun places! One date a night, the best week of my life!" @kylierose remarked, "I think you just encouraged me to do this and find someone to go with on Friday."
