Misunderstandings are not so bad at times. Take Alyssa Orender for example. Orender, who is a resident of Arkansas, was just trying to get herself added to her grandmother's car insurance policy. But things took a hilarious turn when she had a slight miscommunication with her grandma and mixed up the details requested by her. Orender detailed the story back in a Facebook post from 2017. Before putting up the pictures online, she was having a solid debate with herself. Orender thought the pictures involved in that chaotic mixup were embarrassing but it was funny enough to give everyone a good laugh.

She prompted people watching her post to grab some popcorn before she could start with the entertaining backstory. In the post, Orender shared some of her pictures, posing with her front and side profile on display. Except, she was supposed to take pictures of her grandma's car and email it to the insurance agent. "I decided it would be a good idea to be added to my grandma's car insurance policy. Everyone knows you save money with multiple cars and being single and young, my insurance is pretty high. So, I called my grandma and asked her what she thought and she proceeded to call her insurance agent to find out what I needed to do to be added," Orender, who went by Alyssa Stringfellow earlier, wrote in her post.

Orender's grandma called her back and said that the agent was asking for Orender's driver's license number, her date of birth and a picture of the car taken from the front and each of its sides. Unfortunately, Orender missed the part where she was supposed to click her car's picture and sent the agent her own pictures instead. Afterward, the insurance agent replied to her email. "Hi Alyssa, I am going to need pictures like you just took, except they need to be of your vehicle. That will allow me to put full coverage on your Kia and then add you to the policy," the email read. Orender realized her embarrassing mistake a bit too late.

Her grandma also started texting her, asking if she had sent the agent her own pictures instead of the car's. "So he had called my grandma and told her and apparently, they laughed about it on the phone for a good five minutes. Needless to say, I was ridiculously embarrassed and everyone at work had a good laugh at my obvious misinterpretation. The crazy thing is, I asked my mom to take the pictures after I got off work and we discussed why in the world he would need pictures of me. We never once considered it was supposed to be of my car," Orender concluded her post. People in the comment section could not hold back their funny comments either.

Natalie Burks commented, "You so made my day! I really needed this laugh. You are hilarious girl! We all have those moments!" Katy Carmack Graham quipped, "Alyssa, I haven't met you but know several of the girls you tagged so I read this, and thank you for posting! I needed this laugh!" Kaitlyn Cheyanne McAlister shared, "Blonde moments happen to everyone. I'll share with you a blonde moment I had at work. So when the manager was training us she showed us how to mark $100 bills with the marker. A week later I got my 1st $100 and picked up a yellow highlighter and marked the $100 bill. A few days later I got another and this time when I marked it with the highlighter the customer looked at me like I was crazy. Later that day I saw 1 of my coworkers mark a $100 bill with a black marker. Thank goodness my manager thought it was funny. I was so scared I was going to get fired."
