Woman moved by thoughtful and heartwarming gift left behind by previous homeowners

Changes can be tough, especially when it involves moving to a new neighborhood and home. However, support and kindness add a whole lot of help in making the process worth cherishing. A woman named Emily (@em.ily.j.p) shared that when she moved into a new house, the previous owners shared ample support through their heartwarming gesture. The deal for the house had been done via realtors from both parties so she never got a chance to meet the owners. However, they left a wholesome gift to ease the burden and help her kickstart her journey in the new home. 

In the video, Emily said, “When you buy a house from the sweetest people.” The woman shared that the previous owners had left behind possibly everything she would need to get used to living in the area and transforming the house into her home. Starting with a binder, all documents and paperwork for her house were neatly organized in the same. Stored safely and neatly, it also contained other documents and details the woman would need along the way. The decency of the binder was evident enough to measure the love and thoughtfulness with which the previous owners had arranged everything. 

That was not all, the owners had also made other preparations so it would be flexible and easy for the woman to move in. In a drawer, Emily found various keys sealed on a sheet of paper, each labeled with its purpose. The house, mailbox and several other keys were all separately stuck on the paper. Furthermore, the people were generous enough to provide all the additional information Emily would need regarding the neighborhood. The thoughtfulness with which they mentioned everything made it clear that their former home meant a lot to them. 

"She also sent a message through our agents that detailed any other tidbit that would be helpful, even what she made with the apples from our apple tree. They loved this home. We are so blessed to be able to love this home too,” Emily said to Newsweek. They left nothing for Emily to figure out, she had been given first-hand guidance, thanks to the previous owners’ gesture. Lastly, the former owners also shared details about the trash day, types of garbage cans, information about the garage, codes, and other vivid items. 

Emily was sure to thank the owners through the agents involved in the transaction. "I was able to send an email through our real estate agents to them after we purchased the home. I thanked them immensely for allowing us the opportunity to purchase their home and for the binder that was so thoughtfully left behind for us. I wanted them to know the details didn't go unnoticed, and we appreciated them.” The video left people in awe. @codylamb18 wrote, “You can tell this was a home full of love and memories and that they’re passing on the same to you.” @crystallizagrra added, “Girl, that is a golden treasure!”
