Anyone who has spent time around toddlers knows this phase too well: when they’re hungry, all they want is food, just not sure what kind. These moments often end up in laughter and also make you realize that you are raising a mini version of one of their parents. That’s exactly what happened with Austin Miles Geter when his little girl was having a meltdown and wanted food. In a now-viral clip on Facebook, Geter calmly tried to reason with his visibly upset daughter, who wanted food, but couldn't explain what she wanted. He compared her reaction to his wife's, joking in the caption, “Just like her mama.” The hilarious clip, posted on November 19, 2025 has garnered over 2.2 million likes.

The little girl expressed, “I want food,” at the beginning of the video. Hearing this, her father patiently asked her what kind of food she wanted. The girl responded, “I don’t want to tell you.” What followed was a painfully funny and relatable exchange between the father-daughter duo. “At least tell me what kind of food you want. Can you do that, or do you want me to pick?” he tried to figure out. The girl then agreed to let him choose, as she said, “Yeah.” When Geter, once again, tried to know at least the name of food, giving her options to choose from, “Mexican, Italian?” The toddler, after waiting for a few seconds, came up with a hilarious answer, “No.”

“This must be factory settings,” read the overlay text, adding to the humor. This playful banter of the father-daughter duo left everyone in fits of laughter. Viewers flooded the comment section, sharing similar moments with their kids and how dramatic children sometimes can be. “She’s going to fit in just fine with us,” remarked Sarah Elizabeth. Latonne Millican Erlanson joked, “It starts young. She’s practicing for her future culinary conversations.” “I feel this. Sometimes we are hungry but just don’t know what we are hungry for,” wrote MsBridget Marie

Moments like these continue to dominate social media, offering a dose of laughter to the people on the internet. Another incident featured a new mom, asking her daughter what she wanted for breakfast. The kid's response left her stunned, and also made her realize that her daughter was her “mini-me.” In the video posted on TikTok, the little girl replied, “Starbucks” in the most gibberish way possible. When she asked again what her daughter meant, the little girl confirmed she wanted Starbucks. “When you realize you’re raising a mini-me,” wrote the mother in the caption of the video, who couldn’t stop laughing at the adorable answer.
