It's rare to find someone willing to help others when they have so little to spare themselves. Certified life coach and content creator Kendra Amos was shopping for herself when she came across a man who asked for food and socks. Although she was on a tight budget, she decided to help him and hoped things would work out. In an Instagram video posted on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, under the handle @kreatewithkendra_, she shared how a quick prayer was followed by an unexpected message that left her amazed.

Amos explained that she was trying to stay within her budget that week and had planned to buy things for herself. When the man asked for essentials, she told him to wait while she went through the store to get what he needed. She admitted that she was worried about covering both sets of expenses, so she quietly prayed for help. After giving him the items, she headed to another store. There, she received a text from someone asking whether she wanted money she had left behind in an account. The message arrived less than ten minutes after she had prayed for a way to manage the expenses. The life coach was stunned by the timing and saw it as an answer to her prayer. She said, "God's a provider," explaining how deeply the timing of the message had moved her.

Amos also reflected on wanting God to see that she could be trusted with what little she had. She hoped that as her finances improved, she would continue using her money to help others rather than focusing only on herself. For her, the experience was a reminder that generosity does not have to wait until someone has more than enough. She encouraged others to keep their faith during difficult moments and believe that support can arrive in unexpected ways. Sharing her story, she said, "I just want to remind you, trust him today." She also expressed gratitude for what she saw as divine help, adding that she believed God would come through for those who trusted him.

For those who believe, trusting God's timing can bring comfort when circumstances are beyond their control. In another incident, a young woman struggling to manage her expenses gave her last $10 to a homeless woman selling handmade drawings outside a grocery store. She had been working three jobs in California but still faced money problems, with barely enough fuel to get home. After giving away the money, she sat in her car and cried while telling her mother what she had done. Her mother prayed with her over the phone, helping her feel hopeful despite her doubts.

The following morning, she received an email from someone named Jesus, who had bought six pairs of shoes she had listed online for $120. The payment came at a time when she desperately needed money, leaving her amazed by the timing. She later explained that she had "borrowed her belief" from her mother during their prayer. The experience stayed with her and strengthened her faith. She came to believe that kindness and trust could bring comfort during difficult times, even when the future seemed uncertain. She added, "God shows up in the most miraculous ways."
